Many feathered fledglings will naturally spend almost a week on or near the ground as they learn how to fly. Most times, these little ones are supervised by their parents and should be left alone. Keep pets and children away until they take flight. Watch this video for tips on reuniting baby birds that have prematurely fallen out of their nest. W.E.S.T. does not rehab birds. If you find a songbird or water fowl in trouble, keep the bird(s) warm, keep in a dark/quiet place, and call Second Chance Wildlife at (513)875-3433.
